Privacy notice

This website is run by Sensify (Pty) Ltd, a South African company. We collect as little personal information as we can, and we use what we do collect only for the purpose you gave it to us for.

The contact form

When you send us an enquiry, we ask for your name, your email address, your organisation if you want to tell us, and your message. We use this to reply to you and, if the enquiry turns into a project, to run that project. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't share or sell your details for marketing.

Your message is emailed to us and stored in our Google Workspace account, so Google processes it on our behalf and it may be held outside South Africa. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you, and for the life of any work that follows.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. It sets cookies in your browser and records details such as your device, browser and approximate location. Google processes this on our behalf and may transfer it outside South Africa. We don't use it to identify you personally.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which sees your IP address and basic request details when you load a page, as any web host does. It receives nothing you type into the form.

Your rights

Under POPIA you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we process it. Send any such request through the contact form and mark it "privacy". We will respond within a reasonable time and at no charge.

If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page. Last updated 3 September 2026.
